The Fourth of July brings a large number of coastal residents to Cedar Key for the best small town fireworks show you will ever see. Cedar Key's volunteer firemen stage it with great flair. The Cedar Key Aquaculture Association will start the festivities at 10 a.m. with Clamerica®, in Cedar Key's newly renovated City Park. Activities include live music from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., clam shucking contest, Cultured Clam Cook off, and PLENTY of Cedar Key's farm raised clams. For those wanting more traditional "4th food", there will be hamburgers, hotdogs, pulled pork and corn on the cob.
